Oshwal Centre is a special place to have your Hindu wedding ceremony. Located in the heart of Potters Bar, Oshwal Centre is surrounded by by 70 acres of countryside. Oshwal Centre is one of the most sought after wedding venues in Potters Bar, a beautiful wedding venue set within manicured lanscapes and a stunning traditional temple (\u2018derasar\u2019) which makes for the perfect backdrop for your special day. I love photographing weddings here, with beautiful formal gardens, a capacity to host up to 500 guests, bright airy halls, it definitely lends its self to creating stunning photographs and I totally understand why bride and grooms love to get married here.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

OSHWAL CENTRE PHOTOGRAPHY – MY AUTHENTIC STYLE<\/span><\/h2>\n

I don\u2019t generally use buzzwords such photojournalism and reportage, and different photographers have a different process of thought on what these words mean to them. For me I\u2019ve found my naturalistic,\u00a0documentary style of wedding photo\u2019s<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to be what I love most about capturing everything that happens on your Indian wedding day at Oshwal Centre in Potters Bar. While there is a place for something a little more organised, such as portraits, I prefer to photograph your day without interfering or interrupting at all. This means capturing real moments and genuine emotions along with of course always searching for beautiful light and meaningful compositions. Beautiful wedding venues such as Oshwal Centre are a gift, however what matters to me most are the people such as yourself, along with your family and friends, and all the genuine interactions and moments that happen. I truly believe these are the photos that will stand the test of time and you\u2019ll cherish forever.<\/span><\/p>\n

HINDU CEREMONY TRADITIONS AT OSHWAL CENTRE<\/h2>\n

A traditional Hindu wedding ceremony is a beautiful and sacred event that celebrates the union of two people in marriage. This joyous occasion is filled with rich cultural traditions and rituals that have been passed down for generations, and is an important part of Hindu culture. One of the key elements of a Hindu wedding ceremony is the exchange of garlands, known as the Jaimala. This is a symbol of the couple’s acceptance of each other, and is often accompanied by the singing of traditional wedding songs.<\/p>\n

Another important ritual is the Kanyadaan, in which the father of the bride offers his daughter to the groom. This is a deeply emotional moment, and is seen as a symbol of the father’s love and sacrifice for his daughter. The ceremony also includes the tying of the Mangalsutra, a sacred necklace that symbolises the couple’s commitment to each other. The groom ties the Mangalsutra around the bride’s neck, signifying their union and the beginning of their new life together.<\/p>\n

In addition to these traditional rituals, a Hindu wedding ceremony may also include other customs and traditions, such as the lighting of the sacred fire and the exchange of vows.<\/p>\n
