I’m a London based UK & Destination Wedding Photographer, and I absolutely love to travel the world taking photos of beautiful, unique weddings for amazing people.
People talk about work/life balance but to me there is only life. And weddings are absolutely a part of my life that I love and am blessed to be able to do.
15 random things about me:
1. I’m a part time photographer – full time dad.
** I love my job and everywhere it’s taken me from Bali, Singapore, California, Tuscany, Greece, Iceland & all around the UK. But what I love the most are the people – because they’re the stories I love to capture.
2. I’m pretty sarcastic – and Larry David is my comedy hero! I’m hoping to grow old, grumpy and sarcastic as him – and maybe even as rich!
3. My wife doesn’t find me funny at all – so when in the rare occasion she does laugh at something I said then my Serotonin levels go through the roof for a full week!
4. I used to DJ for more than 10yrs or more and I f&*&king loved it! I’ve dj’d in Greece, Spain, Cyprus and all over the UK – played to crowds of more than 5000 people – but now I dj at home and play to crowds of 0.
5. I’ve run the Marathon distance twice – once included running the London Marathon in 2022 raising over £20,000 for Alzheimers Research UK.
7. I love self help books & listening to self help podcasts – seems like I need a lot of help – there’s a lot to work on! Lol.
8. I’ve never worked for anyone as an adult. The last time I’ve ever worked for someone was when I was 16 – pushing trollies in Sainsbury’s.
9. I’ve cycled London to Paris in 2.5 days for the Stroke Association.
10. I’ve got a degree in Computer Science from Kings College in London, and an MSc in Computer Games Graphics & Animation – which have had little to no use in my careers.
11. I love drum & bass & hip hop – I generally love most types of music apart from Minimal Tech – that can go in the bin. I learnt to make music over Covid and it’s a hobby of mine which allows me to release a different aspect of creativity.
12. I haven’t drank Alcohol in over 2 years one of the best things I’ve ever done! I am addicted to sugary treats though – I call that balance.
13. I got my first tattoo and swore I’d never get another one – 8 tattoo’s later – ooooops.
14. I run a wedding photography learning community with over 300 members called NineDots alongside my brother from another mother Andy Gaines.
15. I love my mornings more than I do my evenings.
