Wedding at The Great Tythe Barn, Costwolds | Rupa & Nayan
Thank you so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer at The Great Tythe Barn, Cotswolds. I had such an amazing time celebrating your wedding with you guys along with your family and friends. I hope you enjoy this sneak peak from your wedding celebrations at The Great Tythe Barn, Costwolds.
Natural Wedding Photography at The Great Tythe Barn
All weddings are unique and I want to create beautiful natural images that are especially unique to you. All weddings are amazing, and I absolutely love finding out that a couple wants to book me for theirs. My aim as a photographer is to create a visual story of your wedding day to take you back and remind you of how you felt.
I try to make my approach to every wedding as personal as possible. My approach at all weddings is much like journalism. By trying to document the event without imposing on it, I can capture more authentic moments, without distracting – or annoying – you or your guests. I’m very aware of how uncomfortable a staged moment can feel, and when you’re looking back at your photos years from now I want every moment to feel meaningful and honest. It’s a joy and a privilege doing what I do, and few things give me more pleasure than showing someone the photos from their big day, transporting them straight back into those memories, some of the most precious they will ever have. I want everyone to be blown away by your photos, most of all you. Whether I’m working as an Indian wedding photographer, or on the road shooting destinations around the world, I just want to do your day – and your love – justice.
It Feels Like a Destination Wedding — But You’re Still in the UK
One of the best things about The Great Tythe Barn? It feels like you’ve escaped to the countryside for a destination wedding — without needing passports or flights. The moment you arrive, you’re surrounded by rolling fields, golden stone buildings, and this peaceful atmosphere that makes everyone instantly relax.
Rupa and Nayan hosted a welcome party the night before the wedding at The Great Tythe Barn — drinks and food in the courtyard. And honestly, that changes everything. Guests bond early, barriers come down, and by the time the wedding day arrives, the vibe is warm, familiar, and full of energy. It’s not just a wedding — it’s a full-on two-day celebration.
From a photographer’s point of view, those extra moments make a big difference. I get to capture more of your story, your people, and all those spontaneous moments that happen when you’re not rushing around on a tight timeline.
Everything’s On Site (Which Means No Stress)
The Great Tythe Barn has everything in one place — ceremony, reception, accommodation — the whole lot. That means no cars, no travel, no complicated logistics. Just good vibes, good food, and more time spent actually enjoying the day.
There’s space for up to 200 guests in the day and 350 in the evening, so you can go big if you want to. Or keep it more low-key. Either way, it works.
They also have on-site accommodation for up to 90 people — from self-catering cottages to a big house where the wedding party can stay. It’s ideal if you want to make a weekend of it. Plus, waking up on-site on the morning of your wedding? Game changer. No rushing around or traffic anxiety. Just a slow morning with your people — and I’ll be there quietly documenting it all.
The Light Here is Gorgeous at Great Tythe Barn
As a wedding photographer, I’m always looking for great natural light — and The Great Tythe Barn delivers. Whether it’s a sunny day or a moody one, there’s always somewhere with soft, flattering light.
In the evening, the golden hour across the fields is something else. Those few quiet moments with you two out in the countryside — it’s one of my favourite parts of the day. Just the two of you, soaking it all in. And the photos always speak for themselves.
If you’re getting married and you’re considering The Great Tythe Barn — I say go for it. It’s beautiful, it’s relaxed, and it offers way more than just a one-day event. It’s a place where people laugh, dance, cry, and connect. And that makes it a joy to photograph every single time.
If you’re on the hunt for a wedding photographer for The Great Tythe Barn, I’d love to be part of your day. I know the venue inside out, the best places for portraits, and how to capture all the little moments that make the big day truly yours.
