Introducing The Film Edit
There’s something about film photography that just feels different.
The softness in the highlights.
The subtle colours.
The beautifully natural skin tones.
Film has a timeless quality that many couples love. But on a wedding day – where moments unfold quickly and can never be repeated — shooting entirely on film can sometimes mean making difficult decisions about which moments to capture on film and which to capture digitally.
My approach is a little different.
I photograph your wedding day digitally to ensure every important moment is captured without compromise. The speed and flexibility of digital means nothing is missed – from the big emotional moments to the fleeting in-between ones.
Then afterwards, you have the option to create something special.

How It Works
The Film Edit isn’t about simply applying a preset.
Each image is carefully refined by hand to create the subtle tones, gentle contrast and warmth that make film imagery feel timeless.
The result is a beautifully curated set of photographs that feel like they could have been lifted straight from a well-loved analogue photo album.
• You select up to 80 photographs from your gallery
• Each image is individually re-edited with a film-inspired finish
• Soft highlights, natural tones and nostalgic colour grading
• Delivered as a separate Film Edit collection within your gallery
Crafted, not filtered
After receiving your full gallery, you’ll be invited to select up to 80 of your favourite images. I’ll then carefully re-edit these photographs with a film-inspired aesthetic, giving them a softer, nostalgic look inspired by classic film photography.
This approach gives you the best of both worlds.
The reliability of digital photography – ensuring every meaningful moment is captured – combined with the timeless look and emotion that film is known for.
