Every photographer is different, and so is every wedding the Oberoi Marrakech. You want a Morocco Wedding Photographer that can take photos that is absolutely right for your day, you need to do your research. There are so many ingredients that go into the unique alchemy of a wedding, and your photographer is one of them, but they are more than that too. They are a collaborator and they need to be on your wavelength from the word go. They need to get you, and the day you want. The better I know my couples, their passions, their families, their histories, – the more I can see the world through their eyes and create their perfect photos at The Oberoi.
I’ve always gone out of my way to get to know couples before I work with them. Nothing excites me more than getting to be part of their important day at The Oberoi– possibly the most important day of their life. It’s a privilege and a joy, but only if I feel like I’m genuinely clicking with the core emotions and people involved.
I tend to work with couples who want their photos and the rest of their day to feel very natural. That want to look back and immerse themselves in those authentic moments as they happened. Minimal posing, maximum emotion. It’s how I’ve always loved to work, and I’ve won a lot of awards doing it. Hopefully it sounds like the kind of photography you would like for your The Oberoi wedding too! You can view my latest wedding Indian Wedding in Morocco here.
You did such an amazing job not just being a photographer, but integrating into our family and being a part of it. You weren’t just a vendor that came in, took pictures, and left. You got to know us and spent a full day roaming Paris with us while learning about us and our families, all the while capturing phenomenal shots of us. This experience right here made it extremely easy when you flew to Chicago to shoot our wedding. You knew what we wanted and made it happen! You stayed for every event until the event was over, you’re truly a dedicated person that cares for not just what you do, but for the people you shoot. I want to also recognize that you spent almost a week away from your girls to be with us full time! Thank you! Can’t forget that during your trip you even captured an evening for our friends! Rahul, thank you from the bottom of hearts! Pruthvi & Sunny

1. Explore the Medina and Souks
The heart of Marrakech is its vibrant Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you’ll find bustling souks (markets) filled with spices, textiles, ceramics, and more. Each alleyway reveals new treasures, from handmade crafts to colorful carpets. Don’t miss Jemaa el-Fnaa, the main square, where street performers, musicians, and food vendors come alive, especially at night.
2. Visit the Majorelle Garden
The stunning Majorelle Garden, created by French painter Jacques Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent, is a tranquil oasis filled with exotic plants, cacti, and fountains. The bold blue art deco buildings and the serene atmosphere make it a perfect spot for photos and relaxation.
If I could give Rahul a 100 star review, I really would. I couldn’t recommend Rahul enough to any upcoming weddings or events.
His attention to detail is second to none and his work ethic is exceptional.
We used Rahul for our Civil ceremony in the UK and our Indian wedding in Bodrum, Turkey and the level of content, emotion and energy he has brought has been out of this world. His dedication, hard work and passion really shows in all of the photos he captures and I can’t express our gratitude and love for him.
My one advice to anybody reading this is; choose your photographer wisely. We became friends with Rahul on a personal level and it made the experience 100X more meaningful and enjoyable! Thank you so much to Rahul for giving us the confidence throughout all our events! Love, Dilan and Jaina!
3. Discover Bahia Palace
Step into the opulent Bahia Palace, a 19th-century marvel showcasing intricate Moroccan craftsmanship. The palace is a masterpiece of architecture, with ornate tilework, stunning ceilings, and lush gardens. It gives a glimpse into the luxurious life of Moroccan royalty.
4. Indulge in a Traditional Hammam
Marrakech offers a variety of hammams, or traditional Moroccan baths, ranging from local bathhouses to luxurious spa experiences. A hammam session typically includes a steam bath, skin exfoliation with black soap, and a relaxing massage. It’s a wonderful way to unwind and experience Moroccan wellness traditions.
5. Take in the Views at La Koutoubia Mosque
The Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech’s largest mosque, is an iconic landmark with a beautiful minaret that dominates the city’s skyline. While non-Muslims can’t enter the mosque, its gardens and the view of the mosque’s stunning architecture are worth a visit. The sight is especially beautiful at sunset when the building is bathed in golden light.
These top activities offer a well-rounded experience of Marrakech’s vibrant culture, history, and beauty.
Rahul was our photographer for our destination wedding in Tuscany this summer. He was nothing short of excellent. Not only was he our photographer, he also helped us recommend a DJ, priest and even our wedding venue in Tuscany! He’s extremely experienced and knew how to coordinate with the other vendors professionally to ensure he captured every single emotion throughout the few days we were in Italy. He’s friendly, approachable and makes you feel at ease during photo shoots. The photos we received were absolutely stunning. He is worth every single penny and it’s such a gift that we will always be able to relive our wedding through Rahul’s photos! Shree & Kish
Some of my other favourite wedding venues and locations I love to shoot at is Kimpton Fitzroy London, Morocco, Penha Longa Sintra, The Oberoi Marrakech, The Dorchester, The Grove and so much more!
Overall, the Oberoi in Marrakech combines breathtaking surroundings, luxurious amenities, and professional event planning to create the perfect setting for a magical and memorable wedding celebration.
Rahul – from start to finish you were amazing.
From helping me put the final touches on my wedding outfits, to organising people – not to mention the photography – somehow you were in every place at once and there’s nothing you missed. Some moments you can blink and miss (e.g my dad stealing the ring for me during the ring game) but you caught it on camera!
Your photos aren’t just photos, they perfectly capture the energy and emotions of both of our wedding days. Jaisin and I are so happy we chose you, there’s nobody we’d rather have spent the weekend with.
The preview video you sent (just 2 days later!?) is so good, not to mention the photos you edited for the reception which were from the previous day of events! You’re quick, professional and you were the perfect addition to the day.
Thank you again Rahul! I highly recommend you to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Indy & Jaisin
