Hey, I’m Rahul Khona – a wedding videographer based in London, but always ready to travel across the UK and beyond!

As a photographer first, storytelling has always been at the heart of my work. Having been honored as one of the TOP 50 Wedding Photographers by ProPhoto Mag, I’ve now taken that same passion for storytelling into filmmaking—creating modern, cinematic wedding films that capture the essence of your special day.

WHY I LOVE HYBRID FILMS…

Let’s face it no-one wants to watch a 2hr video of their wedding anymore. And that’s where I come in! Being an unobtrusive observer, blending seamlessly into your guests, it allows me to capture the most authentic, real moments. In many ways, I try to look like just another guest with a camera. The less people notice me, the more I can document your wedding exactly as it happens— and provide you with a beautiful highlight film that you can rewatch over and over!

Ultimately, it’s your day. You should get to spend however you wish. I’ll be there to document your day honestly. All you need to do is have fun, spend time with the people who matter the most to you, be nervous, be excited, celebrate, laugh, cry, dance and be yourselves!

BEAUTIFUL HIGHLIGHT FILMS

Just a heads-up—I’m not a videographer! If capturing audio (like your vows or speeches) is important, I’d definitely recommend booking a dedicated videographer if your budget allows. You can click here to read my thoughts about having a videographer.

My hybrid coverage is more about adding some motion to your photo collection—it’s a fun extra, not a full-on video production.

I’M A PHOTOGRAPHER FIRST

Photos will always come first! I’ll grab video clips when it feels right and won’t get in the way of capturing great photos. That means I can’t promise to catch every big moment on video—photos will always be the priority.

But I will promise to create an authentic wedding films thats true to you —to bring back all those incredible memories preserved in a motion time capsule.

My highlight films capture all the feels—the happy tears, big laughs, and those quiet little moments that make the day so special. It’s about the energy too—getting ready jitters, the buzz of the ceremony, and the wild dance floor vibes. It’s a fun, emotional snapshot of your day that’ll bring all those feelings rushing back every time you watch it.

My videos are simple and relaxed—short clips captured between photos, set to licensed music and edited to match my style. I’ll include all the best moments in the video, so no re-edits, okay?

HOW I TELL STORIES USING VIDEO

Hindu wedding videography is always a joy to capture. One of the things I love most about being a London wedding videographer is getting to film incredible Hindu weddings. They’re full of beautiful traditions, deep emotions, and so many unforgettable moments.

Having photographed many Hindu weddings, I know all the little traditions that make them so unique—including the fun post-ceremony games where the couple and their guests really let loose. These moments are always filled with laughter and joy, and they make for some of the best highlights in a wedding film.

And of course, Hindu weddings always wrap up with an incredible reception—an explosion of music, dance, and the most amazing Indian feast. It’s a true celebration, and I make sure to capture all the energy and excitement so you can relive it again and again.

My approach to filming is always natural and unobtrusive. I know exactly where to be at the right moments to capture all the important details without getting in the way of the celebrations. Understanding the rituals and their meaning is a big part of what I do, which is why I always take the time to chat with the bride and her family beforehand. Knowing how the day will unfold and who the key family members are helps me capture the most meaningful moments in the most authentic way.

For me, wedding films is all about storytelling. I don’t just want to give you a wedding film that shows how the day looked—I want it to make you feel everything all over again. The excitement, the laughter, the happy tears—I want your film to instantly transport you back to each moment, time and time again.
