Jewish Wedding Photographer in London | Natural Photographs

My favourite Jewish wedding venues in London

Being a Jewish Wedding Photographer in London, I’ve had the honour to capture several Jewish wedding  celebrations.

Every wedding I have photographed has been unique, filled with plenty of emotion, love and joy. While my couples, their nearest and dearest are enjoying their special once in a lifetime celebration, it’s my duty to blend into the background and document the day with my natural, photojournalistic approach and to capture all the moments, raw emotions that unfold in front of me, with my own creative flair.

Here are some of my favourite venues that I’ve had the honour of photographing Jewish weddings.

Soho Farmhouse

Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, set in the beautiful Cotswolds, is an amazing country house hotel perfect for your Jewish wedding celebrations. Whether you’re planning a small intimate civil ceremony or a grand Jewish wedding, there is a variety of barns and a marquee to choose from, to ensure you get the perfect venue for your Soho Farmhouse Jewish wedding.

St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel

This stunning five star hotel situated near Kings Cross, is an amazing venue for Jewish wedding celebrations large or small. I love shooting here with all the heritage and architecture from the rail’s golden age. This is a prestigious 5-star venue and the perfect space for a memorable and unique setting for your St. Pancras Reinaissance Jewish wedding.

Banking Hall London

Banking Hall is a beautiful art deco grade ii listed building in the heart of London. With a main space where you can create your own magic and a beautiful mezzanine looking over the City, its a stunning venue for your Banking Hall Jewish wedding celebrations.

Jewish weddings in the UK or anywhere in the world are a unique joy, from the bedeken to the breaking of the glass, every detail is special. So it makes sense to book someone to document your day who has plenty of Jewish wedding photography experience. And that’s something I can offer in abundance.

Compared to some other modern ceremonies, Jewish weddings always tell a couple’s story in a unique and symbolic way. For any photographer, that kind of opportunity is a dream, with countless opportunities to capture what makes that part of the ceremony unique.

All these little ‘chapters’ also help to give the occasion a real rising sense of celebration, and it’s impossible not to be swept along by the sheer magic of it.

Thank you so much Rahul for capturing our big day and all the little details so beautifully. Every image really captured the happiness and atmosphere felt at our Jewish wedding and you’ve given us memories we can relive and share for a lifetime. And especially, thank you for being such a delight to work with. Working with someone so patient and kind made it all the better! Olivia & James

We chose Rahul as our photographer because his pictures are beautifully natural, each telling a story and really well captured. He’s truly an artist. He was a pleasure to work with – down to earth, easygoing and always going above and beyond. The photos he took of our Jewish wedding are amazing – there are so many of them, each beautiful. He really captured the spirit of the day  and he wasn’t intrusive at all. The album we’ve had since as part of the Luxury package is amazing – the photos are such high quality and the album really does them justice.

Jewish wedding photography experience

One of the reasons couples choose and recommend me – for all kinds of celebrations – is my ability to read the changing mood of the day and anticipate the right kind of shot in each situation. It helps ensure that you don’t spend any more time talking to me than you have to, and that you get images that will really knock your socks off when you see them after your Jewish wedding is all said and done.

This skill really comes into its own at Jewish weddings though. With so many changes in mood and tone, from the reflective atmosphere that falls during the Yichud to the wild celebration of the hora, I’ve got the knack (and experience) for being in the right place at the right time, and gauging exactly the right kind of photograph to suit that moment. It’s like a sixth sense, and it’s one of the reasons I’ve been fortunate enough to win so many awards throughout my career.

Authentic Jewish documentary wedding photography

Of course, right at their heart, all weddings are about a union. The union of two hearts and souls, and that of the families surrounding them. Whether you’re having an orthodox Jewish wedding or a ceremony all your own, you can trust me to spot and capture those human moments of emotion and joy that you will never want to forget.

For a photographer such as myself that loves to document the day naturally, I have to try my best and capture all the different perspectives of the day. I don’t simply follow a template or some kind of magic formula, I have to capture the bride and groom’s perspective along with the points of view of their closest family members too. Each couple, each moments, each photograph is a new challenge as every wedding is unique just as the couple that are having their Jewish wedding ceremony. This is what excites me a Jewish wedding photographer.

Using my knowledge of light, composition and capturing moments, I understand how to photograph unique images that are special to you. You’ve instilled a lot of trust in me and I need to repay that trust by fully capturing all the emotive, poignant, energetic moments that unfold in front of me with my own creative style. This is what excites me when it comes to my photography and shooting Jewish weddings, capturing all the beauty in the one incredibly special day, that will be forever remembered & treasured by the people who were there and loved by future generations, who will be able to see your love story through your photo album.

Rahul is a photographer completely focussed in capturing the beautiful moments and raw emotion, and that was exactly what I wanted in my photographer. In 20 years I won’t be focused on how “perfect” my dress looked, but rather on the smiles, laughter, tears, and pure JOY Rahul was able to capture so brilliantly over our Jewish wedding festivities. If you want memories that translate into incredible photos, Rahul is hands down the right photographer for you.

Natural Jewish Wedding Photography

I want to give you a record of your day that takes your breath away.
A creative collection that perfectly reflects everything you’ve planned and everything you mean to each other. Something you and your families will cherish forever.

The word ‘unobtrusive’ is used a lot by photographers, but that’s what I will try to be. I won’t get in your way, stage any photos or stop any ceremonies or moments, but I won’t be invisible either. It’s my job to document you and everyone you love around you, and to do that I’ll need to be close to those moments too.

Capturing the reality of your Jewish celebration in a unique way is what I’m there for, but in a way that fits elegantly around everything that’s going on. If I take you away for some portraits, it will be for a very short time. I want you to enjoy your day with your guests. The love and happiness you share with them will shine through in those images.

Jewish Weddings can go from serene to chaotic in a flash, or all kinds of shades in between and it’s one of the reason’s I love being a Jewish wedding photographer. But it’s your adventure, and I’d love to come with you and take photographs that will keep your Jewish wedding fresh in your memories forever.

Taking photos of people on the best day of their lives is what I love to do, and what I do best and you can read more about my natural photography style here.

Creativity & Emotion

Jewish weddings are without a doubt emotionally beautiful and visually breathtaking. And it’s my job to be able to capture all the little details, plus the joy, love, affection and emotion that goes in to every single celebration. It is a challenging task in capturing one of the most important days in your live, along with all the real moments that fleet by in an instant, but this is something I live for and thrive upon. In many ways its much easier to photograph the details, the flowers, the dress, the chuppah, the cake, the table centre pieces at your reception something which I always do photograph, but for me it really is all about capturing through my cameras & lenses, the raw essence of the day. I want to immortalise all the emotion, spirituality, joy, tears and laughter in my photographs, for you to be able to relive your day over and over, so you’ll always remember how you felt on one of the most incredible days of your lives.

I have been lucky enough that all my couples have been given pretty much free rein when it comes to documenting their day. The is a lot of trust given to my by my couples, and I go out of my way and work very hard to make sure I capture all the poignant moments by delivering you timeless images that you will cherish forever.
