Indian Wedding Photographer Essex

As well as London, Essex borders Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire – and Kent is just a hop across the Thames Estuary too – so it’s got brilliant access for your guests from all kinds of directions. Essex has got some fantastic history, along with its fair share of great wedding venues. Because it’s coastal there are also some great seaside and river backdrops.

Whether you’re after something intimate or a larger space, you’ll certainly find what you need, and one of the best weddings destinations I’ve shot at in Essex is Quendon Hall. The main house is a Grade I listed building dating all the way back to the 17th Century. It’s set in a picturesque deer park – which is great for portraits – and the whole site offers a truly historic feel. They have plenty of experience looking after every kind of contemporary wedding too.

My favourite place at Quendon is the beautiful bridal cottage, which is perfect for prep shots. It’s also a nice place to head back to after the wedding to take your time getting some lovely portraits. Of course, if the sun’s out, then you’ll be guaranteed the most beautiful sunsets just behind the main house. And if that’s the case on your big day you just can’t beat it as a spot for some sensational portraits. Chilling as the sun goes down is also the perfect way to take a romantic breather before heading back inside for the party.
