Erin & Shiv’s wedding at The Dairy at Waddesdon was an absolute joy to photograph from start to finish.
Set within the beautiful Waddesdon Estate, The Dairy is one of those venues that feels effortlessly elegant. Surrounded by lakes, manicured gardens and incredible architecture, it strikes the perfect balance between grand and relaxed, making every part of the day feel intimate while offering the most stunning backdrops for photographs.
The whole day had such a laid-back, joyful energy. Family and friends were completely present, soaking up every moment, and you could feel just how much love surrounded Erin and Shiv from beginning to end.
One of my favourite parts of the day was the reception dinner, which was held outside beneath the summer sky. Long tables, beautiful styling, incredible food and golden evening light created such a special atmosphere. It felt relaxed, elegant and effortlessly beautiful, with guests chatting, laughing and celebrating late into the evening.
As the light softened over the estate and the celebrations continued, it was one of those weddings that reminded me why I love documenting days as they naturally unfold. Timeless surroundings, amazing people and genuine moments everywhere you looked.

Weddings at THE DAIRy, WADDESDON
There are some venues that just seem to make storytelling effortless, and The Dairy at Waddesdon is definitely one of them.
From a photographer’s perspective, it’s got everything. Incredible architecture, beautiful gardens, open lakeside views and light that changes so beautifully throughout the day. Every time I photograph a wedding here, it feels like there’s another corner to discover or another frame waiting to be made.
What I love most, though, is how the venue feels. Despite being set within the breathtaking grounds of The Dairy, it never feels overwhelming. It has this relaxed elegance that allows couples to actually enjoy their day while giving me endless opportunities to document genuine moments as they unfold.
Whether it’s guests spilling out onto the lawns after the ceremony, portraits by the water as the sun begins to drop, or an al fresco dinner as the evening light turns golden, everything just feels cinematic without ever feeling staged.
It’s the kind of venue that perfectly complements the way I photograph weddings. Natural moments, beautiful light and timeless surroundings that never distract from what’s really important: the people and the story of the day.
Every wedding I’ve photographed at The Dairy has had its own personality, but they all have one thing in common—they’re the sort of days that stay with you long after you’ve packed your cameras away.
