Sukriti & Arun
Thank you so much Rahul! These pictures are unbelievable!
We love them !! Like obsessively so. And so do our family and friends 🙂
I’ve photographed Indian weddings at The Grove, Watford for plenty of couples over the past few years, and I love shooting there every single time. Sukriti and Arun’s Bengali wedding was no different, it was my second time here within a week and I loved every moment of it from start to finish.
Sukriti and Arun’s wedding, started with their civil ceremony, in front of their closest friends and family. After the ceremony we explored the beautiful grounds of this luxurious venue for a few portraits just before the rain started coming down.
As everyone went to get ready for their Bengali wedding ceremony, the rain stopped, just in time for Arun’s bharaat arrival. This was the first time I had ever photographed a Bengali wedding ceremony, which was mixed with some Bihari traditions too. I always enjoy shooting different cultures and traditions, and their wedding had everything you would expect, rituals, emotion, humour and love. After the ceremony, Sukriti and Arun’s guests showered them with confetti as they said their official goodbyes, just before everyone went off to change for their wedding reception.
Sukriti and Arun’s wedding reception, was an evening full of heartfelt speeches, great food, and plenty of crazy dancing, especially when the dj played some Linkin Park. The whole day was such a joy to capture, Sukriti and Arun, are such a laid-back couple, and I loved spending the day documenting their wedding. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day!
Now onto some of my favourite frames from their Bengali wedding:
I had an amazing time shooting my first ever Bengali wedding. If you’re planning on having a Bengali wedding in London, or anywhere else in the world, then please get in touch. I’d love to hear all about it and have the opportunity to be your wedding photographer.
