Without a doubt, Buckinghamshire is a fantastic place to get married. It’s got more National Trust properties than any other UK county, beautiful towns and loads of stunning wedding venues, the perfect playground for a Buckinghamshire Wedding Photographer. It’s also just over an hour from London, so it’s unsurprising that it’s incredibly popular with a lot of London-based couples.
Capturing Weddings in Buckinghamshire
You’ve put everything into your day. Which is why, I make sure you get 100% of me for the full day and night as your Buckinghamshire wedding photographer. I’ll be there as early as you want me. Often those nervous & excited getting ready shots will be some of my favourites from the day. The anticipation is so great, and everyone is that bit more relaxed.
One of the most important things to me when first speaking to couples is creating a good rapport. The more relaxed you are from that first conversation, the more pleasurable an experience you will have throughout your day in Buckinghamshire. And the more relaxed you are the better you’ll look on your photos!. I’ll always will be capturing as much as possible from the moment through the ceremony and reception, right up until your guests are partied out. You never know when an incredible moment will present itself, so I’ll make sure I’m tuned in to everything.
My favourite images from a recent Buckinghamshire Wedding
My experience shooting couples in the UK and beyond
I’ve photographed all over Buckinghamshire, UK and the world, and I’ve won all kinds of awards too. In 2019 I was ranked the number one photographer in London by the WPJA nd as you can see from my award winning wedding photography portfolio, I’ve got a lot of experience working with every imaginable kind of wedding from Jewish weddings in London, Destination weddings all over Europe and beyond, Hertfordshire weddings, Oxford and ofcourse amazing weddings in London
All this experience, and all these incredible celebrations, will be channelled into your day in Buckinghamshire. You can relax knowing that I will be able to intuitively respond to the mood of your guests, and how you’re feeling right up until the end of the day. Towns such as High Wycombe, Amersham, Chesham and the Chalfonts in the east and southeast of the county are home to some of the best wedding venues in the UK, with some of the most outstanding natural beauty especially in the Chiltern Hills. So whether you’re getting married in the height of grandeur at the De Vere Latimer Estate, or enjoying the splendour in Buckinghamshire’s Hedsor House (one of my favs) or at North Mymms Park, I’ll create an authentic record of your day. One that will transport you straight back into the emotions and moments that started you off on your journey together.
I selected Rahul to photo our events because of his natural style of photography. From the outset, I expressed to Rahul how I wanted him to capture moments during our celebrations in Buckinghamshire that would make me think of all the special times – especially the guests, Rahul managed this and surpassed my expectations as everytime I look at our photos, I am reminded of all our loved ones’ emotions during the events.
Even during moments which were unnatural for Vishal and I (basically all the ‘posing’ bits!), Rahul managed to keep us calm and capture photos that remind us of every minute.View Priyam & Vishal’s beautiful day here.
We were so amazingly happy with Rahul’s photographs. He does not simply stand at the front and take the same boring photos, instead he is constantly moving and bringing his own artistic style which is so refreshing. We got so many complements from our guests saying how good Rahul was and how awesome his photographs are.View Pritha and Rishils amazing celebration here.
Rahul went above and beyond a photographer’s duties and was so easy to work with. He was awesome, his photographs were breath-taking beautiful and artistic, and we cannot recommend him enough to everyone (which we have already to other couples, especially in Buckinghamshire). Thank you so much Rahul for really capturing so many fantastic moments and making our images so very memorable for everyone to see forever!
Getting ready for the big day
One of the most important things I do to prepare for any celebration is familiarise – or refamiliarise – myself with the venue. I’ve shot in lots of Buckinghamshire venues, and may well have shot in the one you’ve picked before. But even if I haven’t, I’ll make sure we don’t waste a minute on the day. By doing my homework I can make sure I’m well prepared with a knowledge of the main locations and light.
I’d love to be able to meet up with you both too in Buckinghamshire, but depending on your location and schedules we can always chat over Zoom, Skype or FaceTime instead – whatever works for you. Communication is everything between a couple and their photographer! And I want to understand your priorities, your family, your relationship and the kind of photos you love we’ll before the big day in Buckinghamshire.
By preparing in just the right way, I can do my bit to ensure you enjoy every single minute of your wedding, whilst still taking photos that will absolutely blow you away every time you look at them.
Minimal direction. Maximum emotion.
You definitely don’t want me popping up every two minutes and asking you to stand a particular way on your special day. Some photographers like to be very much in the mix and giving lots of instructions, but that’s not me at all. I prefer to be invisible, always close but never in the way.
At some points a little direction goes a long way, but I’ll keep it to a minimum, especially with the epic sunsets in Buckinghamshire. I’m much more interested in the moments you can’t stage. Bringing two families together in celebration creates all kinds of unexpected things. You never know who will be talking or dancing or laughing with who! But I’ll be there to capture it.
With 8 years of experience, I’ve acquired a real sixth sense for the moments that matter. And I’m very proud of the testimonials that are shared by my couples. When they say I got it just right, there’s nothing that makes me happier. That’s what I’d love to do for you.
We had the pleasure of being able to book Rahul for our wedding photography in Buckinghamshire. Fast forward to today, we have received our wedding photo’s and my partner and I cannot describe how happy we are. Rahul has managed to catch all our memories and more! The whole experience was fantastic, we had a great pre wedding shoot and fantastic day. On the wedding day, he was great to have around and gave brilliant advice throughout. We’ve gained a friend for life; Thankyou!
Out and About
Buckinghamshire sometimes abbreviated to Bucks is one of the ceremonial counties in South East England, featuring towns such as Chesham, Amersham, High Wycombe and Taplow, which are all just a short drive from my home. A vast majority of the Chiltern Hills run through Bucks creating stunning backdrops for your day. Buckinghamshire is also famous for its rolling countryside and natural beauty. Some notable landmarks in Buckinghamshire are Stowe Gardens, Chiltern Hills, Waddesdon Manor, Cliveden and ofcourse home to Pinewood studios where they filmed James Bond, Harry Potter films and more! So if you’re having your wedding in Buckinghamshire theres plenty for your guests to do before and after your big day.
Buckinghamshire photographs that you’ll cherish
Photographing in Buckinghamshire is always a joy, and I have a lot of great memories of attending so many wonderful celebrations right across the county. But no matter how many I go to – or where they are – each one feels special in its own way, and makes me so glad to be there.
Being asked to capture someone’s most important memories for years to come, is a huge responsibility. And one I take very seriously. So I always work as hard as I can to create the most authentic and honest series of images I can, I want your photos to instantly take you back to your day in Buckinghamshire, to your feelings, and to the people who were there. Although so much will change over your lives, it’s all built on that day and that decision. And it’s an honour for me to be a part of that.
