Love is Love | Best of Wedding Photography 2024

It’s genuinely incredibly hard to put our experience with Rahul into words. We knew how talented he was but it didn’t stop us being totally blown away by the end product.
He made us feel completely at ease and captured beautiful details of the day that will now live on forever. The photographs really took our breath away.
It was a pleasure to be in the presence of his creativity and his total dedication to his craft.

It’s also an utter joy to have him at your party! He works incredibly hard but has time for everyone. It’s clear how big his heart is and maybe that is the magic ingredient for his photography which is nothing short of magnificent.

Finding suppliers who truly view LGBTQ couples through the same lense is harder than it should be. Needless to say, with Rahul, he just got it and we felt totally comfortable being our authentic selves. I couldn’t physically recommend him more. We will be eternally grateful as will our families 💞

I love going through all of my photos captured this year when I make my end of year ‘Best Of’ blog post. Going through these images from some of the most emotional weddings i’ve ever photographed fills me with warmth and reminds me of the profound moments I’ve been entrusted to document.

This year, in particular has been extra special not only because I got to travel abroad again since the C word but this was a year of firsts! I got photograph not only one, but two, same sex weddings, I also photographed my first wedding at the Natural History Museum and also at the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge, plus I experienced a Pamir wedding for the first time too. While winning awards are great (I picked up quite a few this year), the truest honour lies in being entrusted with the task of photographing someone’s special day. The diversity of weddings I documented, ones I hadn’t experienced before, is an unparalleled honour and an aspect that resonates deeply with the essence of my craft.

2023 has been a tapestry of love, laughter, deep emotions, and of course plenty of dancing—some of this year’s weddings had some truly bonkers dance floor action! I’ve also been so lucky enough to travel to Mauritius, Paris, Iceland and Tuscany this year, I love that destination weddings are back in full swing and next year is already looking crazy with loads of travelling too!

Compiling the best images from the year is more than just a task; it’s a stirring journey that amplifies my gratitude for this extraordinary crazy job of mine. The opportunity to meet extraordinary couples, to capture their intimate moments, and to become a part of their warm and caring circle of family and friends has transformed clients into friends.

The process of selecting images for the roundup is always a heartfelt challenge, and this year was no exception. After much contemplation, I’ve narrowed down my choice. Here are my favourite wedding photos from 2023. I sincerely hope that you enjoy viewing them as I did from capturing these beautiful moments. Here’s to the unfolding beauty of 2024!

My favourite photos from weddings in London & beyond!

We came across Rahul on Instagram, and we just knew we had to go for him! His style of photography, which focused on capturing ‘moments’ rather than people portraits, was exactly what we were looking for.

Even before the wedding, Rahul was helpful in so many ways and gave us lots of suggestions throughout our wedding planning process. He made us feel super comfortable, it was honestly like we were chatting to a friend, and he has always been really responsive.

Rahul has captured so much emotion in every single one of our wedding and reception photos, every time we look back at them it feels as if we are re-living the moment. He just gets it and captures the most special moments which mean so much to us.

Other small details and ideas like finding time with the groom to get snippets of the speech to put into a highlights video just added a special something to what we received after.

He has a chilled out approach, won’t force too much upon you and makes you still feel in control of the day whilst guiding you through it.

Would not recommend Rahul enough – great job!

Rahul was a phenomenal photographer, we highly recommend him! He made us feel really at ease from the very start when we had our pre-wedding photo shoot. He was super friendly and was very patient – we really thought he went above and beyond. Most importantly, he felt like he was our friend.

During the wedding and reception, he was always on hand to capture all the different bits , solo pictures, Jaan arrival and bridal reveal moments. He was very efficient with our time when creating the couple shots so we weren’t away from the event for too long.

We also loved that he was able to show some images so quickly after the event to keep the buzz high. We just loved the shots he created and at both the wedding and reception he really captured some epic moments , which we felt were unique to us.

He also really helped us by liaising with other suppliers and even helping us to plan the day a little to ensure we maximised the time. It was incredible how he did all of this solo!

Highly recommended Rahul to anyone looking for someone to capture those unique moments and go the extra mile to make sure we got those memories that we will always remember!

We loved working with Rahul from our very first meeting, our pre-wedding shoot(s) right through to our wedding in Italy. He made us feel so comfortable throughout especially with the potentially awkward couple shoots!

Most importantly, the photos are INCREDIBLE! His eye for detail, use of the Tuscan backdrop (where our wedding was) and use of lighting has delivered amazing results and we are so happy with our photos.

Rahul has also been incredibly easy to communicate all along and he delivered the final edited photos very quickly despite his busy schedule.

Finally, many of our friends and family commented on how lovely and warm Rahul is and he’s become a friend to us!!

Rahul is genuinely a master at his craft, he is so knowledgeable and above all just such a nice person to deal with. His knowledge far expands photography – he gave us so many great suggestions for the layout of our reception and overall itinerary which helped us tremendously.

I was concerned that one single photographer covering the entire day may not be enough, but boy was I wrong. I’m not entirely sure how Rahul does it, but every moment no matter how big or small is captured so beautifully, discreetly and authentically by Rahul.

The icing on the cake was Rahul turning around a couple of our images from the wedding in the morning for the reception in the evening which was presented on big screens. We all fell in love with the images and it was such a nice touch that Rahul made happen for us. He also stayed until the end of our reception which not a lot of photographers do ensuring he caught a range pictures during the reception when our guests were dancing.

We would have no hesitation recommending Rahul to anyone looking for a photographer to capture their special day.
