Borgo Di Castelvecchio | Tuscany Wedding
It’s AMAZING!! We absolutely LOVE it! Thank you so much and we can’t wait to see all the other photos!
Capturing Sarah and Seb’s intimate destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy was an absolute pleasure from the moment I arrived and I knew it was going to be an unforgettable experience, I was not wrong.
Sarah and Seb’s wedding took place in a beautiful church Chiesa Di San Franscesco in Pienza, followed by their wedding reception at the Borgo Di Castelvecchio, where the majority of their guests were staying too. The Borgo Di Castelvecchio is made up of ancient stone farmhouses, built in the 11th Century, which has been restored into a beautiful villa, keeping much of its original architecture, the perfect choice for their reception.
Their wedding day, started off super chilled with the bridal prep, Sarah was lucky enough that one of her close friends just so happens to be an amazing make up artist that has just been nominated for an Emmy, whilst Seb and his friends were enjoying the pool, the perfect start to any wedding day. Then it was onto the church for the ceremony, where all the guests were treated to an amazing String Quartet playing on arrival, and who infact played throughout the ceremony too, which created the perfect ambience.
After the ceremony it was back to the Borgo Di Castelvecchio for drinks and canapés, on the lawn overlooking the Tuscan hills, followed by a brilliant 7 course Italian meal, catered by the same folk that catered KimYe’s wedding, along with the speeches in-between courses.
With the formalities out of the way, it was time for the first dance and the party to begin at 1,15am! And boy, what a party it was, the brilliant DJ Simon Martin, kept everyone on their feet till sunrise! It was crazy, the music selection was on point, I knew it would be, especially after I found out that Seb was a massive Neo-Soul, Hip Hop, Dilla fan!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I get to meet and work with some of the best people on this planet! Being able to document Sarah and Seb’s day, along with their family, friends and all the happiness was an immense pleasure. Sarah and Seb your wedding was one for the records, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day!
Enough of me rambling on…..here are some of my favourite frames.
I had an amazing time shooting in Tuscany at the Borgo Di Castelvecchio, it was the perfect setting for any Wedding Ceremony. If you’re planning on having a wedding in Italy or anywhere else in the world, then please get in touch, I’d love to hear all about it and have the opportunity to capture your wedding.
