Priya & Mayur held their Indian wedding at Braxted Park in Essex, and it was a great day! After months and months of meticulous planning by Priya and Mayur, their Hindu Wedding and Reception was an amazing day full of celebrations and I was so happy to be documenting it for them. I can see why they chose Braxted Park for their wedding celebrations, its a beautiful and historic estate located in the heart of Essex, with a long sweeping driveway, picturesque gardens, and an elegant Georgian Mansion, what more could you ask for.
I started my day capturing Mayurs entrance as he arrived in a vintage car, with his family waiting for his arrival. Once he arrived, he was welcomed by dhol players, and his family who were ready to get the celebrations started, and began dancing all the way to Priya’s family who were ready to greet them. After Mayur’s arrival I went to see Priya and document her finishing touches with her make up, before she made her entrance into the mandap when the wedding ceremony would officially begin.
The Hindu ceremony was filled with moments, and witnessing the connection between Priya and Mayur was wonderful to see, they were constantly smiling with one another, and enjoying every moment of getting married. They had real love for each other, their families and everyone that was close to them. After the ceremony had finished, everyone went to change into their reception outfits, whilst Priya and Mayor had their civil ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest. They joined the other guests at the evening drinks, before their reception, which was an amazing evening with speeches, and plenty of shape cutting on the dancefloor.
Thank you Priya and Mayur once again for allowing me to document your day, I had an amazing time with you both, your wonderful friends and family. Now onto some of my favourite frames from their Hindu Wedding and Reception at Braxted Park.
