Hilton London Bankside | Indian Wedding

This was my first time at Hilton London Bankside for Heena and Anish’s Indian wedding, and what an amazing day it was. I had already photographed their civil wedding the previous week at Three Rivers Golf Club in Essex, so it was great to meet their family and friends again for their Indian wedding.

Heena and Anish chose the Hilton London Bankside for their Hindu wedding ceremony and reception. The Hilton Bankside is a brand new London hotel, only two years old, and is set a stones throw from Tate Modern, The Shard, Borough Market, it was the perfect setting for their wedding, and probably one of my favourite London hotels too.

Heena and Anish, are such an easy going couple, super relaxed, who wear their hearts on their sleeves and completely in love with not only each other, but with their family and friends too. It was clear to see how much everyone loved them too.

Their Hindu ceremony was conducted beautifully by my good friend Kamal Pandey, along with Shiv Gopal who set the tone with the background music throughout the ceremony. It’s always a pleasure to shoot a ceremony when Kamal Pandey is the Hindu priest at an Indian wedding.

It was a truly beautiful day, being surrounded by awesome people, its days like this I realise how lucky I am to be a wedding photographer.
