Jumeirah Carlton Indian Fusion Wedding

We love it! Thank you so much for capturing our wedding day so beautifully.
Photographing Krithika and Astej’s Sikh wedding and reception at the Jumeirah Carlton in Knightsbridge was amazing. These guys are such genuine, fun-loving humans, and their day was full of exactly that, plenty of fun, great family and friends around them and just a joy to capture.
I arrived early to Astej’s home to document his getting ready and more importantly his turban being tied expertly by Jagdeep from Pagh Vala, before a small ceremony taking place, just before we headed onto Ealing Gurdwara for the bharat procession where Krithika’s family were waiting to greet them.
Krithika and Astej’s Sikh wedding in the Ealing Gurdwara, was a light-hearted and joyous ceremony. Once their ceremony was over and they were officially married we headed over to the Jumeirah Carlton in Knightsbridge for some portraits, before they started to get ready for their evening reception.
Once Krithika and Astej got ready, with the help of the super talented Gini Bhogal, not only at make up but at tying Astej’s bow tie, we headed around Sloane Street for a few portraits before they made their grand entrance into the ballroom for a night of great food, amazing speeches, plenty of drinks and some epic dancing.
I had such an amazing time capturing Krithika and Astej’s wedding at the Jumeirah Carlton in Knightsbridge, London. They are two people who are very much in love and it was amazing to see that throughout the day, and to document their close group of family and friends who really know how to party!
Here are some of my favourites from their wedding and reception at Jumeirah Carlton.
