Himi & Kavita’s Hindu wedding at Addington Palace, was an amazing day full of celebration. Ever since I first Himi & Kavita in Shoreditch for their pre-wedding shoot, I knew their wedding day was going to pretty special, and I was not wrong. These guys are brilliant, they are two of the funniest, kind and warm hearted people you’ll ever meet.
Himi & Kavita got married at Addington Palace in Surrey, a magnificent Grade II listed building, which was a stunning backdrop for their Hindu wedding & reception. I started the day with Himi, as he got ready before making his grand entrance to his wedding on a horse. After Himi made his official entrance into the wedding, I went to see Kavita, who was just getting her final preps done, before she made her way down to the ceremony.
The ceremony was full of rituals, tradition, love and a lot of laughter, just as you’d expect from Himi & Kavita, these two were beaming with the hugest smiles through the day. Following their Hindu ceremony, Himi & Kavita swiftly changed for their civil ceremony, which was taking place in inside the palace itself. After their civil ceremony, we wandered around the ground for some portraits, before they changed for the third and final time for their wedding reception.
The wedding reception was just as amazing, as the rest of the day had been. Heartfelt speeches, delicious food, and of course some crazy dancing thanks to the Shiv from Dynamic Roadshow. The atmosphere throughout the whole day was incredible, and thats all down to Himi & Kavita’s amazing personalities.
Thank you Kavita & Himi for choosing me to document your wedding, it was a real pleasure. And thank you once again for getting my Uber after the pre-shoot too, you guys really shouldn’t have, you guys are too kind!
