It was a real honour to photograph Leena & Sachin’s wedding at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel in the heart of Hertfordshire. This stunning venue is unique and something very special indeed. Leena’s brothers wedding was one of the first weddings I photographed on my own so it was a real honour several years later to be her photographer at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel. Tewin Bury Farm Hotel is a special place to have your wedding ceremony. Tewin Bury Farm hidden away by the River Mimram and Tewin Nature Reserve is a family owned country estate sat on over 700 acres of land and home to the Williams family since 1931. Tewin Bury Farm Hotel is a beautifully rustic setting for your Hindu wedding ceremony.
There are three different spaces to choose from too, The Tythe Barn which is ideal for up to a 160 guests, with its pwn private Riverview bar, solid oak floors and a pretty walk-way bridge over the river its a really unique setting for your special day. The Meadow Barn is a much bigger space and can hold up to 500 guests, its the perfect blank canvas to create your own unique backdrop for your big day. Lastly, there is The Millstream, which is set along the River Mimram and an outside pagoda which is licensed for an outdoor wedding ceremony. The Millstream is a more intimate suite which is licensed for 60 guests for your civil ceremony and unto a 100 for an evening reception.
I love photographing weddings at Tewin Bury Farm in Hertfordshire, with beautiful countryside scenery, it definitely lends its self to creating amazing portraits and I totally understand why bride and grooms love to get married here.

I don’t generally use buzzwords such photojournalism and reportage, and different photographers have a different process of thought on what these words mean to them. For me I’ve found my naturalistic, documentary style of wedding photo’s to be what I love most about capturing everything that happens on your day at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel in Hertfordshire. While there is a place for something a little more organised, such as portraits, I prefer to photograph your day without interfering or interrupting at all. This means capturing real moments and genuine emotions along with of course always searching for beautiful light and meaningful compositions. Beautiful wedding venues such as Tewin Bury Farm Hotel are a gift, however what matters to me most are the people such as yourself, along with your family and friends, and all the genuine interactions and moments that happen. I truly believe these are the photos that will stand the test of time and you’ll cherish forever.
